New Member ! Xue Zhao

Xue studied the epigenetic mechanisms and their correlation with morphology in the model diatom Phaeodactylum Tricornutum. Her scientific interest is to explore the inputs that drives the cells to switch morphology. In our team, her main focus will be to explore the possible structural differences at the level of cellular organelles between diatom ecotypes and to investigate mixotrophy in microalgae.
